Overcharges insulin for my cat by $100. It costs $120 on Chewy but they won't work with them or answer their request for the prescription and pet information so I have to spend $220 at their pharmacy. They are never willing to work with you on pricing or payment plans. Also will coerce you into getting unnecessary tests you don't need. They are a clean facility and they seem like decent people by the way they treat their patients but it's because they are happy to making bank off insane up charges. Unless you want to waste money don't go here.

I’ve been taking my dogs to Gibraltar vet for many years now. I’ve always had a pleasant experience and they put up with my two crazy dogs. The staff are always friendly, they answer any questions I have. I’ve boarded my dogs there many times too and never had an issue, even when I was concerned leaving my anxiety puppy there they made sure she would be okay and told me I could call any time to check on her which made me feel a lot better. It also gives me peace of mind knowing they’re at their vet if something were to happen. I highly recommend getting their wellness plan if you have a puppy, especially if they need to be spayed. It may seem pricey at first but I felt it paid off in the long run.

this place made a very hard moment much easier. we had to put my cat down when he got very sick unexpectedly. i had forgot to cut off some fur from my kitty and only realized when i had already got home, so we called and asked if it was possible to get some, and they said yes! even putting it in a vile (i was only expecting a baggie!) this meant the world to me. thank you!! the atmosphere is calming, and the staff are very compassionate. we were able to make an appointment for the same day.

ETA: They said they were calling me back on a different number and they would send me a partial refund for the wellness plan. They sent me a copy of my dogs vaccination records in a timely manner and agreed to mail me a check. I had a wellness plan with this location which included 3 technician exams and 3 days of lodging. I paid in-full upfront. In the last year I have spent over $1,500 on my dogs here (for healthy dogs). I have tried to make appointments that should be covered under the wellness plan multiple times without being able to get a date. I attempted to schedule pet lodging for my dogs only be told that it is no longer offered even though it was included with the plan and prepaid for. My dog was sick and I tried to get an appointment and they told me to call a different clinic. I asked for a refund for the services not provided and I keep getting the runaround. They tell me the person that handles that (I am assuming the new owner) will call me back and provide me with the refund. After multiple messages and over a month and over five calls to the clinic, I still do not have a refund or even the courtesy of getting a call back. Today, I got an email to all their customers saying that they no longer have a wellness plan but they will still honor people that have plans. They have certainly not honored the plan… even with receipts, a signed contract with the clinic, and a printed document that clearly shows what is included with the plan. I am not going to take my dog here anymore. My entire extended family in Gibraltar uses this clinic for our dogs and cats. It is terrible how they have treated longtime customers. I do not blame the staff that has likely also been subject to the new policies of the new owners. When I called, they almost seemed uncomfortable at the fact that I have obviously made multiple calls about the situation with the promise of receiving a callback. I wonder how long this location will stay in business as all of the longtime supporters take their business to clinics that honor their commitments after taking money for services.
